Personally, I've always found it hard to invest in something I'm not going to get much use out of, an occasion dress for example. I'd much rather invest in the comfiest, most perfect sweatshirt that I know will bring me joy over and over again. I designed this collection to fill the gap in your wardrobe of swimwear that is just that because this isn't just an occasion, this if your life.
We use our clothing to express ourselves in so many ways, what you wear should always be a conscious choice. It should be an extension of who you are and what you stand for whilst communicating your style, your swimwear should tell the same story and we hope that with our collection, you too can share yours.
"Emerge" just felt right, as my first collection after a change of hands for Aurai, I wanted to showcase my own personal style, it's easy to communicate something you love. I felt inspired by a recent trip to Mexico, the richness of textures and colours there, the heat, the smells, the feeling of each place I visited clung to me and allowed a moment of rare pause, swinging in hammocks where the first scribbles of the collection emerged. Throughout this collection I've used an earthy colour palette, including warm hues of Cacao, Cactus green and a pinch of Salt, reminiscent of the many salt rimmed margaritas consumed in this stunning country.
Of course, the entire range is made from our signature Amni Eco Soul - CO2 control yarn. The first biodegradable polyamide in the world, developed and produced in Brazil using reclaimed water. This yarn is made from a polyamide with an improved formulation that accelerates biodegradation in the anaerobic environment, common in most landfills and is OEKO TEX certified. Offering styles that support all shapes and sizes, running from extra small to extra large, in one and two piece sets. Cut thoughtfully to allow for comfort whilst accentuating the body and staying true to the brands Brazilian roots with a flattering Brazilian cut bottom.
